so far.

If anyone knows
how to bevel or round edges, please let me know!
I wish this software
had a feature for putting a bevel on edges. (Everybody's a critic.
Right?) I insist on having no sharp edges. It's a key feature. I
want the piece to be comfortable to hold and sharp edges will tend to
chip.
That said, nibbling
at them by hand is time consuming and probably will drive me to
distraction and beyond.
How I got here.
- I drew the silouette of the knight in MS Paint, and stored it as a BMP file.
- I used Inkscape to convert the BMP into an SVG.
- I imported the SVG into Thinkercad and made an extrusion.
- The current state is shown in Fig. 2 after lots more fiddling about with the base.
